• Apraxia (difficulty making purposeful sounds)
This type of evaluation can be helpful if you suspect that your child has:
• Aphasia
• Developmental Language Impairment
• Dyslexia
• Reading Disorder
• Writing Disorder
• Communication Disorder/Impairment
• Autism/Asperger’s Disorder/PDD

• Articulation Disorder

The evaluation will diagnose the problem(s), quantify a child’s strengths, and identify the factors that limit a child’s success. Each limiting factor will have one or more treatment recommendations, such as:
• Speech/Language Therapy
• Reading Programs (e.g. Wilson Reading System, Orton-Gillingham,
RAVE-O, Lindamood Bell, Project Read)
• Participation in a school IEP (Individualized Education Program) or 504
Accommodation Plan (to help obtain school-based services and
accommodations)
