Crystal Johnson, LICSW
Ms. Johnson completed her education locally at Boston College where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work. She has experience working with clients ranging from early childhood through adulthood, as well as providing families with parenting education. Ms. Johnson has worked within school systems providing individual and group counseling to children and adolescents. She has extensive experience working with adult survivors of domestic violence, and their children, both separately and together.
Her clinical background includes working with individuals diagnosed with PTSD or complex trauma, depression, and anxiety disorders. Ms. Johnson has a specific interest in working with culturally diverse and LGBTQ+ clients, and non-traditional families, such as single parents, grandparents parenting grandchildren, and foster/adoption cases. Ms. Johnson is also a Certified Yoga Teacher and utilizes yoga, mindfulness, and movement. She draws from cognitive behavioral treatment, narrative therapy, play therapy, and expressive arts therapy, all through an empowering, client-centered model of care.
