Jacqueline Owens, Ph.D.
Dr. Owens completed her degree in Educational Psychology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison (UW). During her time at UW, she focused her research on interventions for students who bully others. She conducted her dissertation research through Dublin City University’s Anti-Bullying Research and Resource Centre (Dublin, Ireland). Dr. Owens completed her internship through the Illinois School Psychology Internship Consortium at a diverse public high school in suburban Chicago. Dr. Owens has experience providing individual and group counseling for children and adolescents, consulting with school professionals around individual student needs and school-wide prevention and intervention, conducting psychoeducational evaluations in school and university settings, and implementing skill-building groups for adolescents and young adults with intellectual impairments.
