Jennifer Warkentin, Ph.D.
Clinical Neuropsychologist, Counselor, Outreach Coordinator
Dr. Warkentin received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Ohio University and her predoctoral internship at the Albany Psychology Internship Consortium in New York. Dr. Warkentin has experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and with a broad range of mental health issues. Since 2010, she has focused her clinical work on the assessment and treatment of older adults, and is particularly interested in evaluations of capacity or decision-making, and in treatment for issues like depression, anxiety, and life/role transitions. Her style is warm and, at times, humorous, and she incorporates different approaches and evidence-based treatments to meet her client’s needs.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Warkentin spent four years as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of New Hampshire, and continues to provide trainings and seminars on a number of topics. Dr. Warkentin also serves as the Director of Professional Affairs for the Massachusetts Psychological Association (MPA), where she advocates for better access to mental health care, serves on behavioral health-related state task forces, and provides practice-related consultations to other psychologists.
